Ike is an import from Canada descended from the kennel "Glasgowhills" of Sandi Hamilton. We visited the kennel in 2009.
He satisfies the "Classical Collie" standards with a harmonic body build, excellent angulation and an impressive stretch in his movement. Ike catches with an elegant head shape and lovely expression, proper ear placement, almond shaped eyes. His coat is of very good structure with long and flat hair on top and beautiful mahogany colour.
Our achievements in shows were very positive. Amongst others he gained an "Excellent First Place" by the Finnish (F.C.I.) judge Piia Enlund. We are especially proud about this as she stated in a German Collie Magazine's breeders report: "When judging I only award "Excellent" to those dogs that I consider being candidates for Championship."
His character is out-going, open hearted, friendly and nosy, so that he wants to become friends with anybody no matter if human or other dogs.
Ike demonstrated to cover bitches instinctively and dependable. He is available to matching Collie Ladies (F.C.I.). He produces only sable and tricolor puppies.
